Gratitude…………I’m so Thankful

The power of Prayer is an amazing thing. My beautiful Grandson Mason, ( 2 months old.) ended up in the hospital Monday night.
He’s been choking….a lot. His momma, my daughter in law, is a young cancer survivor, who’s own cancer started in her throat. Needless to say we’ve all been very worried. Thankfully, it seems he’s having issues with his sucking and swallowing reflexes, and
they do believe they’ve got it under control. He was sent home last night. My family and friends, as well as my FB family came through
with prayer circles….so much love and light. We are all Blessed.

 

 

Everyday is A Special Day!!!

A good morning folks!! Every morning when I awaken, the first thing I do is lay my hand on my grandparents bible
and say “Good Morning Grandma & Grandpa,” I’m Blessed with another day!! I’ve recently starting getting myself
into a meditation practice, so I ventured outside this morning to welcome in this beautiful day with the song of the
ocean, the gull and birds. Yes, I choose to celebrate the simple moments of each day that I am given, to not take
any of them for granted………………….wishing y’all a beautiful day filled with beautiful moments!!!

Where there are Ups,,,,,there will be downs………….

Isn’t that the truth!?!?! Just when you think your coasting along, BAM, the rug is pulled out from under you. My daughter
just informed me that her hubby, my son-in-law lost his job. No warning, just let go. Now, he hadn’t been happy with his
employer for some time now, and they knew it. Instead of stressing, he and my daughter are looking at it as a time of
transition….you know, when one door closes, another one opens.

It’s so easy, at times like this, to allow yourself to fall apart, wallow and ask why me. It’s times like this that make
you see what your made of, and has you appreciating what you do have. As my daughter said, “I’m just going to
hold on tight and see where this roller coaster ride is going to take us.” That’s My Girl 🙂

To My Children Stefanie, Brad and Kristen, What a Blessing, A Gift and A Privilege it is for me to be your mom. Lord knows I’ve made many poor choices and mistakes over the years, but the one constant in my life was and is my love for you. I’m so proud of the amazing adults and parents you’ve all grown into!
Not only are you all Gifts, you’ve Gifted me with 4 beautiful grandchildren……I’m a Blessed Woman and not a single day goes by that I am not Thankful

Dragonflies and the word Believe all have special meaning to me..finding them both on this tumbler…total
happiness!!! :)))  It doesn’t take much to make me happy!!!
