Soooooo…Our dear friend Fim, over at The Monday Music Medicine Show has asked us what our favorite song is……….I’ve decided to go the Christmas route by sharing a few of my favorite songs from my favorite childhood Christmas shows.
The Year Without A Santa Claus
Snow Miser & Heat Miser
Put One Foot In Front Of The Other
Rudolph
There’s Always Tomorrow
Impossible to pick just one.
I know. Right?! Just can’t do it!!!!!
Nope, not even if someone paid me. I’d pick one then a few seconds later think of another one. Then another one… and so on
Exactly!!!!!!
😃👍
Now you got me. I’m thinking of MY favorite childhood Christmas song from one of those Christmas shows. Mine is “Razzelberry Dressing” aka “The Lord’s Bright Blessing” from Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol. circa 1961? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eq1oJJ9M784
Yessssssssssss!!!!!! That’s another of mine!!!!!!!! 😄😄😄😄
The Year Without a Santa Claus was always my favorite holiday program as a little girl with the Heat Miser and Snow Miser being my all-time favorite show song! Such wonderful taste you have – but now I can’t get Put One Foot in Front of the Other out of my head! Enjoy the holidays!!!
HaHa Becky!! Happy to take you back!!!!! 😄😄
Didn’t know the first one, but love the other two. I watched “Rudolph” the very first time it was on TV! December 1964, the first Christmas we were in Utah.
I always loved that song. But you’d watch the show, and in the blink of an eye, the scene and song were done…..YouTube is a wonderful thing!!! 😄😄😄
Exactly! I couldn’t just pick one, so I ended up with THE 42. 🙂
I didn’t know these, but I sure like the little Rudolph one. That doe had a gorgeous voice. 😀
