A Beach Oddity or Two or Three

Here we are, the last day of January, and week 5 of Cee’s Oddball Challenge . Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge (COB) is all about those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category. We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them. There is never a theme to this challenge, so what is an odd ball is all up for you to discover and photograph.

My contributions this week are beach related….the first two I discovered on the beach after Winter Storm Jonas blew through last week….the third, well, it’s for the birds.

Jonas left me some balloons to photograph (I then tied them to my backpack and disposed of them)

Next, as I continued my stroll, I stopped to watch some snow geese flying overhead…when I looked down in the sand, I saw this…..

…..And yes, I picked it up, and taped it in my journal………and last, this seagull..couldn’t pass it up. Love his choice of resting spot!

  1. Great photos! That sea gull was too funny! The guard gull. 😀
I remember a friend told me she used to go out to the beach with a metal detector, after the crowds left, on a treasure hunt. 🙂
