“I can still only see a dragonfly, its wings as thin and light as silk and its body the color of rainbow. But on the wings of this dragonfly I take off and fly, for my soul carries no weight. It is our bodies – these borrowed vehicles of flesh and bone – that weigh us down. Our spirits are eternally free and invincible.” ~Daniela I. Dragonfly Dragonfly
You came to me…
Bringing me Comfort,
Peace And Serenity.
Your message delivered.
Your touch I still feel.
Your time with me short lived,
But your impact was real.

Great poem. What did you do with the dragonfly after he passed? Have you ever seen “Dragonfly” with Kevin Costner?
Yes I’ve seen the movie,,,a few times! ☺️. Dragonfly is keeping vigil on my meditation table,,sitting on top of some shells and stones in a dragonfly bowl 💙
Great poem!! It reminds me of a time when a dragonfly landed right on my nose and stayed there for more than a minute; it was so peaceful to be touched by this magical creature!

That is one beautiful picture.
What a wonderful picture. I think that is the prettiest, most magical dragonfly I have ever seen. You have been blessed and so has (s)he.
Peace
Mary
☺️☺️ Thank you Mary 🙏✌️
I don’t recall ever seeing a dragonfly that close. No wonder they represent magic and fairy tales!
💙🙏
