Good Morning from my ‘Uncomfort Zone πŸ˜

While Strolling this morning…I had a million and one things running through my head…can you say Monkey Mind?! πŸ™‰ One conversation I had with myself was about unplugging from social media…..Again! The negativity, the ugliness and just plain ole offensive stuff that’s been popping up in my newsfeed lately has finally taken its toll….I’ve unfollow and defriended, but it’s just time for a break……another thought was, what kind of baby steps can I take to step out of my comfort zone?!?! That’s when it hit me,  make a little hello video…………..so that’s what I did……this was taken roughly 6-6:15ish this morning….mind you I’ve been up since 2:30!! I’m babbling of course, but I did it, and I’m sharing…….πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

  1. Awesome to hear your voice and I’m very glad to have found your blog. You are an inspiration to many, my dear, continue the great work! Are you on the east coast? I just love the ocean and will be near one soon. πŸ˜‰

  2. How wonderful to hear you speak and such a Beach. Virginia, that is near New Hampshire is it not, I was in New Hampshire once fell in love with it. You take care and let us enjoy more strolls with you, hopefully capturing a little of your Peace.

      • Thanks for that, I should have know that Linda having been in New Hampshire for a week, it was early September when I was there and the Trees were magnificent, never forgot it, or the local Store with barrels of Apples outside. The other three weeks were based at Englewood New Jersey, bet it has changed a lot. (I was 22 when I went – long, long time ago).

  3. So Linda, you must know Englewood. I had to have my sister with me, she is four years older and we spent the month with my mother’s first cousin, she was not all there it would seem and one night she frightened the life out of me, when in the early hours I heard her stomping around, I thought she was as usually on the “booze”, but she was on the landing waving this small Mother of Pearl gun around, I had never seen a gun in my life. Another day she told us to be up very early the next day as we would be flying to Washington DC for the day, I was so excited, barely slept so I could be up early then “she” appeared shawls around her and I knew it was NO, and it was – never saw DC. My sister never would go anywhere and she kept control of me. So it was all so sad America was out there and I saw little.

  4. Congrats! That was an awesome first video! Have you thought about doing a weekly Soul blog post. (With a snazzier name of course. πŸ˜€ ) You sounded great and it the video was SO clear! Hm… Coffee with the Dragonfly? (By the way, did you KNOW they can fly upside down???)
