Day 17 Of My Meditation Journey 🙏

Day 17 of this 21-Day Meditation Experience touches on Solutions. Now there’s a word for the day if there ever was one!! Maybe our politicians could use a bit of this experience!!! 😁

Day 17 – Reaching the Creative Solution

“When wisdom overrides, our heart produces immense ideas with solutions.” – Adedayo Olabamiji

Today’s meditation is about learning to access the creative solution to any challenge you may face. This begins with the recognition that the solution can never be found at the level of the problem. We must expand awareness beyond the conditioned perspectives, opposition, and confusion of our limited minds. By opening awareness through meditation, we come to know our essential self to be the source of all creative solutions.

TODAYS CENTERING THOUGHT

As one who has been guilty of reacting and over-reacting to any sort of problem…..slowing down and facing the problem with patience, though not an easy thing for me to do, has proven to make a Huge difference in the way I approach things………have all my so called problems been solved, nope….but where I once would have been tied up in knots, stressed and over anxious, my meditation practice has proven to help me slow down, and by proceeding with an open mind, the right solution for me will come…….and if it doesn’t, the world hasn’t come to an end…. Namaste 🙏

A Little Bit Of Harmony

Ok…..So Lady Calen, who,is presiding over us at the Sandbox Writing Challenge has posed this question to us this week…..

Imagine yourself floating among these clouds in harmony with everyone and everything. What can you do to make that happen?

So, like Rolling Blogger, the first thing that came to mind was The Seekers singing this song from the 70’s, which I happen to have on my ITunes playlist….I love the music of the 70’s!! 😊

As for answering the question of how can I make living in harmony happen?!?! Quite honestly, Damned if I know?! It seems so many are hell bent on distruction……with the chaos of our political circus in full swing…the enormous role of social media pitting one against the other…….harmony, as well as truth, seem to be words almost erased from our vocabulary these days……..seems to me that over the last few years, few months even, discord, hate and violence has become the norm 😩

SOOOOOOOOOO………………

I’m putting on my rose-colored glasses 😎 and I’ll continue to Believe that goodness will prevail. I will continue to smile, to be as good and kind a person as I can be, and hope the positive mojo I choose to share, causes a bit of a ripple effect….and in doing so, bring about a little bit of harmony in an often times, not so harmonious world…………..And I will Sing 😊
I Love Love Love the Little Mermaid 💚🐠

Day 16 Of My Meditation Journey 🙏

Day 16 of this 21-Day Meditation Experience touches on your creative space….

Day 16 – How to Make Your Environment Creative

“Accept what is in front of you, without wanting the situation to be other than it is. Nature provides everything, without requiring thanks and provides for all.” – Lao Tzu

To make a creative space we need to encourage appreciation, openness, and acceptance. If we are too rigid, closeminded, and judgmental, then the flow of creativity is restricted and blocked. Today’s meditation teaches us to listen to and respect everyone’s contributions. When we can show gratitude and appreciation for all the gifts that are offered in the present moment, we will have an environment where creative solutions always flow.

TODAYS CENTERING THOUGHT

Today’s quote from Lao Tzu is what spoke to me today……….And I am Appreciative and feel Gratitude for all gifts………

but I found myself disagreeing with something Oprah said  “When people feel stuck they often withdraw…they pull back in their own closed off space.” MayBe that’s true for some, or even most people….but I found myself shaking my head NO………….when I CHOOSE to withdraw, it’s for my own well being, not stuckness. When the feeling of withdrawal hits me…it’s telling me it’s time to retreat, reinvigorate and restore…renew and replenish……….and I happen to like and appreciate my Own ‘Closed Off Space’…..(guess that’s the loner in me!) ……though I didn’t fully agree, the music was soothing. NAMASTE 🙏

Day 15 Of My Meditation Journey 🙏

Day 15 has us beginning our third and final week of the 21-Day Meditation Experience. This one proved to be a mixed bag for me……

Day 15 – Bringing Your Creativity into the World

“Self-expression must pass into communication for its fulfillment.” – Pearl S. Buck

Creating a limitless life means we participate in the world with an open, joyful, and collaborative awareness. It is not a solo journey; it is a journey that intimately involves us with the people and the environment we are in. Today’s meditation shows us that when we experience life from our limitless creative source, we naturally foster creative solutions for everyone around us.

TODAYS CENTERING THOUGHT

Today’s meditation wasn’t an easy one for me in regards to (personal) relationships….. My mind went straight to my estrangement from my family, and once that was planted, it just wouldn’t leave….maybe I was approaching this from the wrong perspective,,but for whatever reason…I just didn’t ‘feel’ this one….

And as a professed loner, I prefer the company of few and nature. With that said, I make a conscious effort to be a good and kind person……to be a good listener, communicator and sharer…and not totally shut myself off from the world…I just so happen to prefer dragonflies to some people…..
