Daily Post’s Weekly Challenge…Early Bird

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Early Bird.” For this week’s photo challenge, get up early and explore the morning light.

To be fair, this is far from a challenge for me as I am an early riser, and sunrise is my favorite time of day. I hope my partaking in this challenge doesn’t bore my wonderful followers/readers of my blog as I do tend to go overboard with my sunrise photos and quotes……I just can’t help it!! I wish you all a Good Morning ☀️☕️ And hope that those of you who are not early risers enjoy the colors and beauty of my mornings!

“Every morning was a cheerful invitation to make my life of equal simplicity, and I may say innocence, with Nature herself.”  ~Henry David Thoreau, Walden~

The colors and quiet that come with the dawn are to beautiful not to explore….

“Have you ever seen the dawn? Not a dawn groggy with lack of sleep or hectic with mindless obligations and you about to rush off on an early adventure or business, but full of deep silence and absolute clarity of perception? A dawning which you truly observe, degree by degree. It is the most amazing moment of birth. And more than anything it can spur you to action. Have a burning day.”

Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge…..Trees

Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge….Trees This week’s topic is Trees. Trees come in all shapes and sizes. Some of have leaves that fall in autumn and others have needles and pinecones. Have fun and use your imagination and creativity with this topic.

I love this topic simply because I Love Trees!!!

“Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth. They do not preach learning and precepts, they preach, undeterred by particulars, the ancient law of life.” ~Hermann Hesse~

“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.” ~John Muir~

“I hear the trees whispering sometimes. They don’t talk to everyone. Or maybe they do, but not everyone listens. Do you hear them?”  ~J.J. Brown~

This was taken on my last visit to PA. He’s a trip!!! He loves taking walks with his Nana (hopefully he won’t outgrow this anytime soon!)…this particular day we were on a little ‘nature hike’……picking up leaves, hugging trees, checking out the caterpillars…..

……..and rocks….he’s into rocks. Throwing them into the woods to be exact……Then I got him on board to build something with them……

Day 5…..30 Day Wild Challenge

“Walking barefoot is like being radiated with the heartbeat of the ground with each step you take.” ~LAG~

Today’s challenge found me taking off my shoes and earthing it……nothing like walking through the cool, wet grass after the rain….
