Day 10: I’m Grateful for my grandfather in Heaven. Along with grandma, you’ve been watching and guiding me for quite some time. Your presence I feel always……I always knew deep in my heart you approved of Jim, now he’s hanging with you all of you……with that kind of guiding force surrounding me, I find it easier to get through my days ❤️
I. Love. You. ❤️
Happy Birthday ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This weeks subject over at Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge is Isolated Subjects…..
Here’s my take on it…..
A Praying Mantis paid me a morning visit
Day 16 of this 21-Day Meditation Experience touches on your creative space….
Day 16 – How to Make Your Environment Creative
“Accept what is in front of you, without wanting the situation to be other than it is. Nature provides everything, without requiring thanks and provides for all.” – Lao Tzu
To make a creative space we need to encourage appreciation, openness, and acceptance. If we are too rigid, closeminded, and judgmental, then the flow of creativity is restricted and blocked. Today’s meditation teaches us to listen to and respect everyone’s contributions. When we can show gratitude and appreciation for all the gifts that are offered in the present moment, we will have an environment where creative solutions always flow.
TODAYS CENTERING THOUGHT
Today’s quote from Lao Tzu is what spoke to me today……….And I am Appreciative and feel Gratitude for all gifts………
but I found myself disagreeing with something Oprah said “When people feel stuck they often withdraw…they pull back in their own closed off space.” MayBe that’s true for some, or even most people….but I found myself shaking my head NO………….when I CHOOSE to withdraw, it’s for my own well being, not stuckness. When the feeling of withdrawal hits me…it’s telling me it’s time to retreat, reinvigorate and restore…renew and replenish……….and I happen to like and appreciate my Own ‘Closed Off Space’…..(guess that’s the loner in me!) ……though I didn’t fully agree, the music was soothing. NAMASTE 🙏
My awareness is unlimited.
Cee’s Foto Fun Challenge: Sense Of Hearing This week’s topic is the colors of the sense of hearing. You can be simple like I did this week and used instruments. You can also get radical and show someone blasting apart a sidewalk with a jackhammer or the soothing sound of the ocean waves. This week you can post anything that stimulates or delights you when you hear it. Be creative and have fun. Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph. Most of all I hope you have fun.
This one cracks me up…..I imagine he is Skuttle from The Little Mermaid and he’s serenading me with his singing voice “Wa Wa Wa Wa!” More likely he’s saying “feed me feed me!”
The sound of the surf is music to my ears! “You can find me where the music meets the ocean.”
The sound of bagpipes playing on Memorial Day.
The sounds of a crackling fire and ocean waves beneath a full moon. That was a glorious night.
