Happy New Years Eve 2019

The hands of time

Tick tocking the moments away.

Soon,

The final chapter

Of this book will be written,

The last period put in place.

And the book will be closed.

Reflection will follow.

There were stormy seas

That pounded and tried to break me.

There were times of peaceful calm,

When all seemed right.

What I have found

On this journey,

Is that my life

Is/was somewhere in the middle.

The rough seas help make me stronger.

The calm revitalizes.

In the middle, I find a cohesiveness

That makes my life’s journey

Explicitly my own.

The book is closed now.

A new one ready to be written.

While I hold the pencil ( I like to have the ability to erase)

God will guide my hand

and help me turn the page,

Let the journey continue.

Happy New Years Eve Folks!! This gal is under the weather, so I’ll be snuggling in with meds, tissues and Philip 😻

There’s gonna be a whole lot of reflection going on, a decades worth 😳 as I say bye bye 2019 and hello 2020. It boggles my mind to think that 2020 will be the fourth full year that Jim isn’t here. So much change, growth, transformation has occurred in my life. The me-myself and I, I am today, is unrecognizable of who I was at the end of 2016. I know he’s proud if me. I’m proud of me.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

TM’s Words Of Wisdom…Speak Life

Good morning folks!!! Soul strolled the ole neighborhood to #tobymac

There will come a time when every step of the journey God is taking you on will make sense. Until then, keep trusting Him. #speaklife

My Return

Roadtripped it back ‘home’ to Chincoteague yesterday. The days are ticking down to Jim’s third Angelversary, and there’s no place I’d rather be then here. Was up before the sun……can you say soul stroll!?!? 😄💛☀️

And in a world offering countless difference perspectives, there is one place that people can find truth. (John 8:26)

Crowder On The Creek

As my journey continues to move forward within my church, I’m meeting amazing people who I know without a shadow of a doubt, is God’s intention. These 2 gals were introduced to me and the next day I was invited to join them to Friday’s nights concert being held at our church. I’ve heard Crowder on the radio, seen a few of his videos, but little did I know that not only would I be meeting him, but his concert was gonna Rock the roof off!!

Cutie wanna be photobomber 😄

Now the music!!

Road Trip….First Stop…Chincoteague

I’ve been on this widow’s journey of mine almost 32 months now….A few weeks ago I embarked on another road trip…this one a solo trip back up to PA, my first time back since leaving there April 2017.

Knowing I wouldn’t be able to make the drive all in one day, I made a short 36 hour pit stop on Chincoteague…..the sunrises were there to welcome me back, as were our neighbors, who’s island cottage I’m blessed to call my home away from home……….

How Blessed a woman I am..to have called this place home..where I scattered Jim’s ashes and I can visit whenever I feel the need to

My favorite time of day ☀️

Front porching it ☕️

What a gift to spend time on the front porch with this guy…My Jim’s second best friend
