Wednesday Blessing

Sometimes you just need to look up 🕊

When the path is simple, peace.

When the way is complicated, peace.

May Christ not only show you the way

but also be the way you travel:

way of blessing, way of peace.

GLADvent Day 3: PEACE ☮️

PEACE: “For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

I’ve always found Peace in Nature….Nature gives me Peace.

I’ve found Peace In the Music of the Sea

The flow of the waterfalls

Peace is the wind whispering in the trees

And most recently,,,

Peace found me in a November Dragonfly.

Those of you who know me, know that the last 7 weeks have been filled with heartbreak and major changes in my life. Within all that, I’ve been able to still carve out time for myself..time to just sit, ‘just be’, and heal. Nature is a true healer…Being outdoors has given me the Peace and Solace I so desperately need at this time.

Thursday’s Thoughts….

I walk alone,

One with Nature.

The sun is rising,

Warmth beating down,

As it ascends in the sky.

The sounds of morning

Begin to fill the air,

With its welcoming song.

The chorus escalates.

Yet, one feels and hears the quiet.
It’s here I find My Heaven,

Where My Spirit is restored.

I feel my Soul connected

To the creatures

One and all.

The lines of humanness

Are blurred,

As souls are connected.

What I feel is Peaceful Joy..

And comfort in my essence.

Day 10-Centering Thought

Day 10 – All Fulfillment Comes from Peace

“Each one has to find his peace from within.” ~Mahatma Gandhi~

We all know the peaceful, settled contentment that comes from being fulfilled. Today we learn that peace comes first. It isn’t the result of fulfillment, it’s the source of fulfillment.

In meditation we discover that peace is our true self. In that state of peace, there are no cravings and no lack. Needs are life-affirming and arise not out of lack, but out of abundance.

In reality, our true self is simple contentment.
