“Sometimes you have to stop what you’re doing and really take everything in. Life can be hectic and it can be stressful, filled with anxiety, anger, sadness and fear. Allow yourself to slow down, take even just a few minutes out of your day to tilt your head back and close your eyes. Just breathe everything in…the sun rising and shining, the smell of the great outdoors, the warmth and steam of a cup of coffee in hand, your heartbeat, the cozy clothes on your body, the love from a family member or friend, and then, Thank God for His Blessings, of which there are many.
O Lord my God, thank you that you are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. The Bible says that you are a Good Father who gives us good gifts. When I wake every morning may I be filled with thanksgiving for the gift of another day. When I lie down to sleep may I respond in gratitude to the many blessings you have given me each day. May I grow in the grace and knowledge of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To you be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
I Am Thankful and Grateful for each little miracle, like watching the birds in my yard 🙏
Heavenly Father, sometimes, ok a lot if times, I tend to take my miracles for granted, or I take for granted You already know that I am grateful, so I don’t express my gratitude as often as I should. Whatever my reasons, today, this moment, I pray to you on fallen knees, how Grateful I Am. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
1 Thessalonians 5:18, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (NKJV)
Romans 14:6a, “Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord.” (NIV)
1 Chronicles 16:34, “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (NIV)
Lord I pray for a veteran. The one who sacrificed, who served, and did us proud. I pray for the home-grown hero who was on the front lines where fear and fate intersected. I pray for a veteran on a military base, a veteran who served in a hospital, classroom, or office. I pray for a veteran who staffed an embassy, who guarded our leaders. The veteran I pray for is in Your perpetual care, and in my heart forever. Amen
What a gift to be mom to these 3 incredible human beings….and then to be blessed to be nana to their children…
Heavenly Father, You have blessed me with precious children and grandchildren, and I am ever so grateful! I pray for their souls, Lord. I lift them up to You today, Lord. They are precious gems in Your eyes, as well as in mine, and that of our family. Please watch over them each and every day. Keep them safe, and guide them in all that they do. I ask these things in Your precious name. Amen
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17
Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers. Proverbs 17:6
Thank you for the opportunity to have a voice in the way my government runs. I praise you for the vote that I have. During this time of debate, diffusion, and decision-making, please have Your sovereign hand over this country. Please keep our country healthy during this season. Give us the peace that passes understanding about the vote, and the outcome. You Word says that You change the times and the seasons, so You are in control of this phase in our nation’s history. I ask for the season to not be volatile, and that our nation would see You in it.
