It has been ages since I’ve participated in Cees Black & White Photo Challenge and this weeks subject is a favorite of mine….Trees
“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity… and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.” ~William Blake~
Beautiful! Black and white is so cool. My favorite. 😃
Me too !! 😊😊😊
gorgeous!
Thanks Lynn!!!
Those are ALL great. It took me a minute on the last one to spot the birds. But why is the tree in the first one dead? Surely it’s not for lack of water… I LOVE that third one. Belongs on a note card! 😀
there is something particularly awesome in black and white photos. These are just beautiful Linda 🙂 You have the makings of a pro !
Thanks to some photo apps, any photo can be changed over. I miss the ‘old days’ and the smell of developing chemicals in a dark room
So you ARE a photographer !
😊 far from it Raili….my dark room experience was minimal at best…..if I knew then, what I know now,,I would have persued my photography….
I adore trees and you’ve captured some good ones here, Linda.
Thanks Opher. I love them too. I miss visiting them along the trails. During the warm months the mosquitoes are awful. Looking forward to the cooler temps of autumn so I can stroll the trails again!! 🌳🌲

Lovely set of monochrome trees. I particularly like the first and last.
Thanks so much Safar!!! 😊
The Blake quote was such a nice touch; I really love your photos. I found the second and third photos to be really special.
Thanks so much Charlie!!!! 😊😊😊
Wow, all very cool pictures. I can’t pick a favorite but I think I lean toward the last one. But that’s only a very slight lean because they’re all really interesting.
Thank you Michael!!! 😊😊
Beauty trees for this black and white challenge. Thanks for playing.
😊😊😊 thanks Cee!!!
